FAQ

SHIPPING & TRACKING

  • When will my order be shipped?

Orders placed Monday through Friday by 2:00 pm PST (excluding holidays) are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 pm PST or on holidays are shipped the next business day. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship out the following Monday (excluding holidays).

  • How Will My Artwork Be Shipped?

    Ships in a cardboard box

Mounted items are shipped flat in a strong, protected cardboard box. We collaborate closely with artists to maintain high shipping standards. Your artwork will arrive securely packaged with ample support, ensuring a safe journey from the artist's studio to your home.

    Ships in a crate

Oversized mounted items will ship in a wooden crate. Large artworks are shipped in very sturdy crates built for sending art worldwide. The crate will contain packaging materials tightly sealed together that meet our strict guidelines to keep it firmly in place during its journey.

    Ships in a tube

Unmounted items are shipped rolled in a sturdy tube, ensuring resistance against dents. This method is particularly suitable for oversized works and offers cost-effective shipping. Upon arrival, rolled works can be easily stretched onto wooden stretcher bars for canvas works or framed by a local framer. For works on paper, we strongly recommend sending them directly to a framer for careful and professional unrolling upon delivery.

AUTHENTICATION

  • What is the purpose of certificates of authenticity (COAs)

Certificates of authenticity (COA) serve as official documents that provide proof of the genuineness and origin of a physical asset, such as collectibles, artworks, or limited-edition items. They help establish trust and value, particularly in markets where fraud and counterfeiting are concerns.

  • How does web3 integration enhance asset security and COAs?

Web3 integration combines blockchain technology with physical assets by linking them to non-fungible tokens (NFTs) or digital certificates. This integration ensures secure and transparent records of ownership and transaction history, reducing the risk of fraud and providing a verifiable digital trail.

  • What are secure QR stickers, and how do they contribute to asset security?

Secure QR stickers are labels attached to the physical artwork. These stickers serve as a bridge between the physical item and its digital certificate or NFT. They incorporate security features, such as unique serial numbers, tamperproof design, acid-free adhesive, and holographic elements, to prevent tampering and enhance trust.

  • How does scanning the QR code on the secure sticker work?

By scanning the QR code on the secure sticker using a smartphone or scanning device, collectors can access the digital certificate associated with the physical artwork. This verification process confirms the authenticity and ownership of the item, providing an easy and secure means of validation.

  • How do holographic stickers and certificates enhance artwork security?

Holographic stickers and certificates are visual security measures that help prevent counterfeiting and fraudulent activities. Stickers are applied to assets and contain holographic elements challenging to forge, serving as a deterrent. ARTGAL's certificates are printed on specialized paper and incorporate iris watermarks, strip holograms, invisible UV printing, heat-sensitive ink squares, and unique serial numbers to establish asset authenticity and maintain integrity.

  • How do I authenticate and establish ownership of my art piece?

As soon as you receive the art certificate of authentication, store it safely in your records. Proceed by sticking the QR Sticker on the artwork's rear. The QR code on this sticker can be scanned using a smartphone or a scanning tool, verifying your item's authenticity and ownership securely and efficiently.

  • Why are serial numbers and traceability features essential on art certificates?

The certificate's unique serial number and traceability features assure the artwork's provenance. This enhances its value to collectors, making future resale or appraisal efforts more straightforward.
